Fun Friday turned out to be fun indeed. The sense of information overload I felt yesterday seemed to be at ease today. I really enjoyed the different image generators and getting a chance to play around with them. They'll definitely be useful in the media center and I can see students incorporating them into some of their own projects. I also liked seeing all of the different presentation tools out there and experiencing them first-hand through our classmates' photo presentations. It was nice to see other alternatives to a PowerPoint driven world. While I did see some tools that I can't wait to try out and use, I was not Empressd with our Empressr tool at all. I liked our concept of signs for our presentation, but the tool did not bring pizzaz to our project. I found myself getting caught up in trying to make the little extra features work -- which failed to work correctly anyway.
