Using Blogs in the Media Center

I would use blogs in my media center to enable students to share projects with one another that we worked on in the library. I would also use blogs to communicate "library happenings" and upcoming projects or events in the media center, so that students, teachers, parents, administrators etc. can see how the media center is being used. On my blog, I would have an area for teachers and classes to go to see projects and assignments they are working on in the library, on which days, and any follow-up assignments or reflections they might have.
